Heinzer, Sarah


Sarah Heinzer (heinzer@stanford.edu), is a visiting researcher with the School of Education. She is a doctoral student at University of Fribourg, Switzerland, with a scholarship from the Swiss National Science Foundation. In 2007, she earned a Master in General Education and Pedagogical Psychology at the University of Fribourg. Her research interests include morality, youth development, professional identity and the commitment to work-related responsibilities as well as competence measurement. In her current research project she is studying the pedagogical ethos of vocational in-company trainers and how it influences the trainee’s professional identity development as well as their identification with the company.
