In this workshop for parents, the role of the home is discussed as an important factor in talent development. Research findings from Olympiad studies are reviewed and the most helpful factors for talent development are listed as identified by the Olympians themselves and their parents. Holistic education is emphasized, including moral and spiritual development. Research-based recommendations are given to parents on how to guide children to fulfill their whole potential. Meaning and purpose of life are identified as important components in educating children and youth.
