The Consensus Report is now available.
This conference was a public event that brought together seven distinguished experts on youth civic development and citizenship education to analyze the cutting-edge questions and problems that must be resolved in order to ensure civic development and participation among American youth from all backgrounds.
The second day of the conference was a working session during which the panel of seven speakers outlined a consensus report with recommendations to the nation regarding contemporary citizenship education in the United States. Funded by the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, Stephen Bechtel Fund.
