Krystal Laryea (email@example.com) is a first year PhD student in Developmental and Psychological Sciences at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education. She is Graduate Research Assistant for the Center on Adolescence, and her primary research interest is in moral and character development in higher education. Prior to coming to Stanford, she spent three years as the University Engagement Director and Director of Special Projects for the Veritas Forum, hosting large-scale dialogues on significant life questions between professors of diverse beliefs at top universities across the Western United States. She has a Bachelors and a Masters in Social Work from NC State University. She is passionate about advancing holistic student development and well-being, especially in university contexts.
