Indrawati Liauw, or "Indra, is a doctoral student in the Graduate School of Education, Developmental and Psychological Sciences program. Her research interests include adolescent development, character education, spiritual development, compassion, mindfulness, learning, and purpose. Indra has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Agricultural and Life Sciences from Cornell University and an M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to joining the Center, Indra worked as a graduate assistant in Rhode Island and was involved in studies on the sense of belonging of minority college students, adolescents’ future orientation and cross-national youth surveys.
