Rajagopal, Tara

Tara (tararaj@stanford.edu) is a PhD student in Developmental and Psychological Sciences at Stanford University. Her research interests include youth mental health and well-being, social-emotional learning and the cultivation of positive psychological capacities such as compassion, mindfulness and purpose in adolescence and beyond. She has a particular interest in the Indian context and seeks to incorporate culturally-rooted perspectives on health and well-being in her work. Prior to Stanford, Tara completed her BA in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania where she studied intrinsic motivation and breathing retraining interventions. Tara grew up in New Delhi, India. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, meditation, music, as well as spending time in nature and with friends.
