In this talk I present how the concepts of giftedness and talents are understood in Finland. I report different ways to differentiate education for talented students. The practices in Finland are contrasted to the gifted education policies and practices in the other countries. Examples of innovative practices are introduced and the needs of talented students are discussed. Some future recommendations to meet the needs of talented students are presented.
